Class Formats for Public Group Classes

Demonstration Classes: These classes are designed to pack even more learning into a shorter period of time.  There is nothing to prepare or to bring for demo classes.  All students recieve handouts and recipes and other goodies related to the class.

Audience Seats:  If you'd like to attend a class, but you do not care to participate in a hands-on project, you are welcome to purchase a discounted "ticket".  You are welcome to ask questions and take notes and photos. All students recieve handouts and recipes and other goodies related to the class.

Hands-On Project Classes:  For hands-on project classes students must bring prepared recipes and supplies to class where you will each create your own cake or edible art.  Recipes, instructions and a list of tools are sent via email.  Cakes, fillings, icings and fondant are not provided unless otherwise noted. All students recieve handouts and recipes and other goodies related to the class.

We are always looking for new places to hold classes!  Please contact us if you are interested in setting up some Demonstrations, Q&As, Classes or Hands-On Projects!

 

A full kitchen and classroom is not necessary.  The only required items are a table, chair, sink and electrical outlets. 

 

Classes are limited in size:

  • For Hands-On Project Classes - up to 6 Students with table space plus 4 extra chairs for students who attend class but do not participate hands-on ("Audience Seats")
  • For Demonstration Only Classes - up to 12 chairs.  These classes are not hands-on but size is limited so every student gets their questions answered.

 

 Along with these classes we will also advertise your business - and any discounts or specials you might want to offer - to all of our newsletter recipients and on our social media profiles.

 

We will arrange your reimbursement together - free or reduced tuition, discounted supplies, a fee, or a percentage of our earnings. 

Public Group Classes are held at locations in Gilroy, Morgan Hill and San Jose

Toni Contreras, the owner of Barbara of Pauline's Cake Supplies, will be hosting our classes at different times throughout the year at their NEW LOCATION!   Please note:   This spacious new shop is only a few blocks away from the old location: 2287 Lincoln Avenue, San Jose, CA  95125 right next to Pearl River Restaurant
